Notes: This whole song is played with one chord. You don't see this very often and it's super cool. The trick is to make the song interesting by mixing up how you play that one chord. Dan and the band use what we call “stops” when you strike the chord once with a good punch to it and then mute the strings and leave space. You can also add some alternating bass between the 5th and 6th string and play some melody notes to keep it interesting. This is a great dance party song and a good one to practice keeping a simple song interesting by varying your playing.
